About
Tamar Hirschl’s work primarily deals with present-day issues
of political and cultural conflict, topics of particular interest to Hirschl, who migrated to Israel after the Holocaust. In recent years, the artist has begun
exploration of the effects of human conflict and urbanism on nature and the environment in a
series of installations, murals, video, and mixed media sculpture.
